The water bath can be heated by electricity, steam, or combustion gases. A stainless steel vaporizing tube bundle is submerged in the water bath, ready for immediate use. The heat into the bath is controlled to maintain steady bath temperature. A mixture of glycol can also be used if planned downtime in a freezing climate is expected. Water Bath Vaporizers can be used to vaporize various cryogens and liquefied gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, ammonia, chlorine, ethylene, and LNG to name a few.
CYY's Water Bath Vaporizers offer an extremely reliable and high flow vaporizer option. The cryogen is vaporized and superheated through a stainless steel tube bundle that is fit with proprietary vortex generators. The water ballast provides a large thermal mass that reduces peak power demand. Full power distribution and water bath temperature control are provided as part of the standard package. Standard units are available from 40 kW to 2000 kW.
